Pop of Colour!

Today I was in a rush so I just popped a bit of colour into my outfit made up of black separates with a bright tank and some fabulously bright peacock earrings! Easy peasy! Due to the heat, a ponytail is now my go-to hairstyle! It's just too hot to wear my hair any other way except maybe a braid or a bun, but a ponytail is just so easy I fall back on it regularly!

Sometimes You Just Feel Like Wearing a Dress!

It was so hot and muggy yesterday that I knew today I would only survive if I wore a nice, light dress to work. Most places here in the UK do not have air conditioners and public transportation gets very muggy so it becomes very important to be as cool as possible. I've had this dress for a couple of years now and I just love it! It never fails me. In the summer I wear it with a light cardi and heels or wedges and in the winter, I throw it on with a heavier cardigan, tights and boots. It's a year-round staple in my wardrobe!

Since we finally have some summery weather, I took the opportunity to get some mileage out of my new summery nail polishes! I love this lavender color and it goes beautifully with this dress!
